As a gamer above the age of 20, would you prefer xbox 360 or ps3?

I have found that all the friends I have who play ps3, are no longer my friends. Not because I chose that, but because they chose that. I feel like ps3 is dull, thus making you not enjoy it anymore and giving you less recreation while playing video games. So whenever I excitedly want to play games around my friends they don't want to. So me and them slowly start drifting away until we don't talk anymore... The reason I like games so much, is that the online experience of xbox is just fascinating :D So, which console do you prefer?

    PC: Thousands of uses, free online gaming, highest number of games, highest number of critically acclaimed exclusives, proper internet browsing, music, videos, most choice of gaming software, hardware and game networking programs such as Steam. Computer and gaming machine all in one for the same price as a home PC + PS3.

    Both are all right. They both have their huge, huge flaws- they're both far from perfect. I will say that I've encountered far less glitches in PS3 games than I have in Xbox games, so when I have to choose, I usually get the PS3 version of a game.

    XBOX of course. so what if you have to pay for online its WORTH IT. ps3 is boring. Gamewise both systems are pretty even but the best online experience goes to xbox :D (my friends with ps3's call me stupid for paying for online when its free on ps3 so I tell them maybe if you guys weren't so damn poor and cheap you could be having as much fun as me lol) this does not apply to everyone so dont be offended!

        I was spoiled as a kid and played the first and best MMOFPS game to ever exist. now everything else seems very bland to me

            fifa was prolly my fav game for my xbox, but i still felt like it was the same thing over and over :S and it made me miss real soccer irl :*(

    Yeah the reason i got ps3 was cuz it didnt cost for membership.
    But the fucking servers been hacked so it gonna take a while to come back.

    Xbox has always had the better online service, but the PS3 used to double as a computer and can play Blu-Ray discs. I personally own an xbox, but I don't prefer one over the other. If most of my friends had PS3s instead of xboxes I would've bought a PS3 instead.

      Um.. Mass Effect, Halo, Fable, Left for Dead, Gears of War, Allan Wake, Forza, Project Gotham Racing. All Xbox 360 exclusive. Microsoft owns so many gaming companies it's not even funny. You really limit yourself with an PS3.

        Only a few of those that you mentioned are truly "360 exclusive". The original Mass Effect, the first two Halo games, the first Gears of War, Left 4 Dead, and Alan Wake are all for the Xbox AND the PC, so they aren't exclusive.

      I've played plenty of hours on the PS3, and honestly, I hate it... no communication, terrible controllers, etc..

        For me the controllers are better then Xbox's.... Ive grown up with PlayStation therefor ill always support them. Its just your own personal choice. I like Xbox i would just rather have a ps3 ;)
