Aren't people complaining about other's being sensitiv more annoying?

If it's a blatantly offensive word then of course, you're being a dick for using it. If it's a political opinion then there is really no use in arguing. Arguing sometimes only really strengthens a person's resolve in what they believe. Challenge others, yeah, but don't put so much of yourself into arguing over Facebook or some dumb shit like that that you're damned near staying up all night to argue about publicly funded abortion with prolifers on a prolife page.

I don't think so. If people are becoming more sensitive and finding more and more things offensive then I wouldn't think someone complaining about the amount of people being offended over little things to be more annoying.

Sure, someone can have hurt feelings but just because someone has hurt feelings over something doesn't mean those feelings being hurt over stupid things can't be annoying, especially if it's to the point where those offended are trying to tell you that you shouldn't say something because it offends them.

Ofcourse there are times when someone is offended and it's understandable though.

Seriously though, I think what annoys those people is not so much that others are offended by the word. But that they use that as a reason to completely ignore everything else the person has said. They just call them stupid and that's it.

It depends on the situation though. Going by what you described, then yeh that is silly.

Sometimes I am annoyed by people being over sensitive because I am often unsure what will upset people and I dont like not knowing what someone will get offended by because sometimes I will just be talking and some idiot gets butthurt for no reason.
