I was wondering if there's a correlation between gender and whether you're the favorite child or not.

My mom's favourite is my sister (female)
and my dad's favourite is me (female)
But that's because I'm most like my dad and my sister is most like my mom.
Out of all four of us, my parents favorites are my younger brother and I. My mother has these weird issues with my sis(seriously, she's mad at my sis for no reason) and my older brother kind of did some things that forced them to distance themselves from him. There seems to be no gender reasons for them.
I wasn't the favorite I think almost all parents have a favorite some show it different than others. Nothing you can do about just make the most of the life you been given.
Even if I thought my mom had a favorite, it's just me and brother. We're both guys. This is kinda an interesting post, but I think actually getting the info you're looking for is gonna be difficult.
