    I like how a lot of hardcore punk/metal bands say they're totally straight edge vegetarians and whatnot. I don't believe them for a minute, I bet all these people are secretly sneaking bacon out the fridge at night when nobody's looking.

      By the way -vegan/veggie is not exactly part of the original minor threat based ideology.

      Vegeterian stuff started with the "youth crew" and vegans got their spotlight with earth crisis and the whole "hardline" shit.

      I dunno, i'm not an edge anymore, but back in early 90s none of my friends really supported vegans. This shit was for dykes and punk chiks noone would fuck.

    I dont even take advil.

    I get drunk once a year (family reunion in the summer, I get drunk out of my mind)

    I choose not to drink, smoke, or use any recreational drugs, but I also rather not label myself. I am just me; I hate alcohol, drugs, and tobacco. It's also unrelated to Christian punk; there are metalheads who are straight edge and atheist, one of whom I personally know.

    Not anymore. I don't use any drugs or booze, don't smoke and never have sex outside of relationship, so in a way i've still got straight edge (minor threat shit, eh). but i don't do it because of some ideology.

    still the music is wicked. And I don't like vegans, lol.
