I'm not a religious person, and I don't believe in god. I'm not saying that god doesn't exist and such, I'm just saying that I don't believe in him because I'm skeptical about his influence and the power he has. I do believe that there is a higher power out there though. I came to this conclusion because I realize how large the universe is, and in a universe so large there has got to be something out there more intelligent/powerful/influencing then human beings. Idk if it's the aliens who are the most highest power out there, but something is...

    Why isn't there an "other" option or an "in the middle" option?

    I'm not religious, and I'm not sure if there is a higher power or not. If one exists, there is certainly no way for us to find out. Arguing about it gets us nowhere.

    Depends what you mean by "higher power", I'm sure there are aliens out there, that possibly have more intelligence than us. Does that make them a higher power?

      there certainly is..i mean aliens for one..but outside a that..it would certainly be very ARROGANT of humans to think that we are the only beings (intelligent ones at that) out thurrrr

        lol anywho i think we well maybe the only intelligent life, its the universe that gave life to our planet and atmosphere wich i fear was a completely random event in the universe's timeline

        now to answer the question at hand i believe only in the power of the world around us it is higher and more mighty than we could ever be and its called time... it remembers all things and destroys and creates all things.

    There are more intelligent beings than humans, but I wouldn't call them "higher powers", because they probably are not watching over us or controlling us, there is no reason to presume that they are deities.

        Well, it's a mathematical certainty that anything that complies with the laws of physics will exist somewhere in the universe. The chances of humans being the most intelligent beings in the universe are incrediably low; if the universe is infinitely large, then it is likely that more intelligent life than humans exist. In fact, if we can imagine it, it stands to reason that somewhere in the universe it must exist.
