Whenever I feel tired/sleepy/sore, I am ALWAYS irritable. The smallest things provoke me and I'm put in a temporary bad mood. Anyone else like this?

When I'm tired I get very touchy feely, if someone puts their arms around me, expect yo become a teddy bear, because im not letting go.

Sore, i get very cuddly, you'd have a good chance at getting a kiss. Normally I dont kiss ANYONE not even my mom

  • I get fairly irritable when I'm tired. Mainly when I'm sleepy though, like when I'm napping and someone wakes me. Grrr.

  • I either get very quiet or I just say random things. That's what I was told anyways.

  • You have no idea how irritable I am when I am tired and sleepy...as in you cant kid me around..no way...it is either you let me have my rest or you get a word from me..

Once I pass the initial tiredness I get a 'second wind' and can go for hours but you really don't want to be near me when I'm hungry - that's when I'm most irritable!!

I get a bit cranky when I first start feeling sleepy. Once I overcome that point, I get a natural energy boost, which sounds good but is not always welcome after midnight. When I'm even more sleep-deprived, I feel almost a bit tipsy and it makes me light-headed and giggly.

The English had a great word for that. Nazzy. One of the many that is being lost from our language. But no, I don't get nazzy. I know a lot of people that do, though, so you're not alone.

I've never heard that word before, but I'll do my best to keep it alive. I rather like it, and it must be spread. Nazzy. No I do not get it, in fact I get rather giddy and excitable when I'm tired. You see me at my best at two o'clock in the morning when I really need sleep. Sore is a whole other story... >:-)

It's entirely possible that it may be a Lancashire thing. Some of my other favourites are when you're in bed or on the couch and you keep moving around and it annoys someone else, they'd tell you to stop "raunging" with the first g as a soft g like a j. If a pet does it, it's then called "pauming". And if a girl's mascara gets all clumpy, she's got "feggy eyes".
