Although I'm grateful I live in a safe country where I got proper education and have a chance on a bright future, I can't say I'm happy...

    I'm still happy after all the shit I've been trough, after all that hatred that was thrown upon me, after getting all those dirty looks from my "friends", after being considered a freak because I shaved my hair. After what's yet to come..

    Compared to a lot of people and their situations in the world I should be very happy and grateful but hey I went through a lot to get my life and kept trying until I did. It's not perfect and I still have a slog ahead of me for the next few yrs. I am proud of what I've managed to do tho but also a little disappointed in my area choice , it's not a feel good spot but I'm stuck with it now and that sort of brings me down . The people and vibe around you make your life what it is - I f'd up a bit there. Can only hope that gets better in time.

    I have a steady job, never go hungry, have a roof over my head, friends, and people that love me. It would be selfish of me to not see my life for what it is. I'm very happy!

    Yes... Most people say I shouldn't be. All I need is a one room apartment. I don't NEED any more. And they say I care too much about (person X) but... Why shouldn't I? I'm not being a danger to him or anyone else. I'm not going to kidnap him or anything.

    money
    nice parents
    chances

    But still, I can't honestly say I am genuinely happy. It sounds very selfish, and it is.
