  • I grew tired of this whole hating Twilight thing a long time ago. My main thought was why people like it so much rather than the film itself.

After that, I simply realized we all have different tastes. I am not about to say I am glad something is over than I never gave much attention to noticing at all. I don't even know how many movies there are of it. Just another movie.

I do dislike it, but not enough to do the whole "I hate it because it is popular" thing. It's like guys are doing it just to prove their masculinity or something.

No we just don't like it when they take something that is supposed to be scary and turn it into some teenybopper drama bullshit!

      • Simply don't watch it. Do you know that has been happening since ever? Nosferatu was a monster looking thing. The first vampires. They were not handsome at all, looked like monsters. If we are to say hate towards Twilight due to it being different is a valid reason, then you should hate the vast majority of vampires since the original Nosferatu.

Things alter for public wants. Yes, we may not like it, yes we may think it is annoying that they are making Vampires less "cool", but that is what a large variety of people want, and we don't need to watch it. Most people will not identify vampires as the ones in Twilight, so there is no reason to get mad.

The thing is though is that people of the next generation will identify vampires as the ones portrayed in the Twilight series so there is a reason.

          • Not really. We have had far more different versions of vampires in this generation other than Twilight.

There is "Being Human", "Daybreakers", and that other film where it is dark for 40 days and 40 nights. Twilight is the only version of vampires that does not run under what vampirism is, and it will surely be forgotten soon enough with new vampire films/shows.

When Edward was going to "unveil" himself in one of them, can't remember which, he came walking out and looked like a goddamned disco ball, real vampires aren't sparkly and certainly not abstenant and whiney.

I'm grown up, hence my distaste for emo-faux-vampires. That whore of an author destroyed a good idea, vampires, lycans, dragons and faeries all rock, if she picks another mythological badass I'm going to send her a bomb.

      That will be all.

There are no words to describe the joy I feel about it finally being over. Damn you Stephanie Meyer for that shit you took that you like to call a book about "vampires"! How dare you change the face of the coolest mythical creature ever! Now bring real vampires back!

Never paid any attention to it. Didn't even know it was over. Thanks for the update... I guess

However, it will only be replaced by another, possibly more annoying fad. Get used to it.

I am pretty indifferent about it. I suppose I'm sort of glad that the fans now have all the films out to enjoy, without as much of the hate for liking it. Although it will probably move onto something else anyway, and Twilight will be replaced with something new. I'm not really bothered by the end of Twilight.

I was heartbroken I balled my eyes out in the cinema when it ended. I love the characters, the story. The greatest love story. I feel sorry for twilight haters you simply do not know what you're missing out on. That film changed me in a lot of ways I can't even begin to describe. I resonated so much with Bella's character, yes I have never had a vampire boyfriend or having to choose between a werewolf and a vampire but the story is so much more than just a vampire who sparkles in the light or whatever. I could go on and on singing twilight praises. I just adore it.

.....bella's character was a staljer at first, whiney and way toodramatically angsty. Not to mention the chick who played her couldnt act, I saw her reading towards the camera in some scenes...pathetic.

It's exactly what the role required the way she spoke and moved. She is an amazing actress, Kristen stewart played the role of Joan Jett in the movie the Runways it was about the first ever all girl rock band and she was brilliant. She is unique. And all of her films are amazing as well.

Never watched them before but I am an open minded person. I'm not going to hate it just because that is the cool thing to do nowadays. It's not my sort of film but I won't spread the hate.

I'm indifferent I could care less either way, I don't love or like or enjoy the whole Twilight series but I don't hate it like it should die, either. It is what it is if some people like it then they do and if some people hate it as a series as a whole then they do.

Myself I prefer the more 80's Vampire movies (Yes! including the B movie ones)

    Long live cinema.

That movie didn't do so well when it hit theaters I read, It failed big time. But it's good.
