Are you always hungry?

So u have noticed that if I don't eat something every two hours I am starving. Even after I have had a normal sized meal. I was wondering IIN?

  • Occasionally I go through a phase like that. I also go through phases when I'm almost never hungry. Weird.

    I'm virtually never hungry. I often skip a couple of days without eating and don't feel any the worse for it. I'm well-built and not in any way skinny. My body just doesn't need a lot of food.

    Ive noticed that If I'm away from home, I don't eat. I don't like eating around people. It's awkward. This is why I've never been on a real date. I remember when I went to camp and didn't hardly eat the whole week. It's not a weight thing, I'm just paranoid that people are watching me.

    But when I'm at home and it's just me, I normally eat twice my weight in food every 2 hours. I love to eat, just not in front of people. Right now, I'm craving chicken nuggets from chick-fil-a. I could literally eat 50 of them.

    • everyone I know is like that. we always see people who hardly eat anything and wonder how they survive but then if you see them in the afternoon you can see where it comes from. Its partly habit, bordem and sometime hunger :) I think food tastes better at that time

    You may actually have a medical condition. I know I am that way with sugar, its due to my being pre-diabetic. Yesterday was a perfect example, but with fluids. I could not get a diet drink or water, the only thing to drink I had was soda. I drank 9 cans in less than 2 hours, I could not control my thirst. I have never had that problem when I can get water or straight (no sugar) tea. I have had an entire pizza (the crust is all carbs) in an afternoon if I wasnt paying atttention, but i have never done that if i have a healthy, low carb meal. Just something to consider....
