Do you pursue death or put yourself in situations that improve the likelihood of dying? I'm just curious, I find that kind of shit fascinating, I'm not going to bitch at you or try to change you.

One of the most liberating things in life is losing the fear of dying. It allows one to live life to the fullest without fear.
If you live a good life, taking full advantage of this wonderful thing you have been given, then when you approach the end, you should have no regrets and go out contented.

  • Yes. Terrified of it, same with old age. I want to stay young and beautiful forever! :3

Seriously though, death scares me. I'm not scared of things that cause death like heights and so on but just the idea that I'll be gone and the world will keep on turning without me and I'll miss out on so many things to come that I'll never get to experience.

God damn it, I wish I was immortal. :(

Sometimes the thought of dying freaks me the hell out, occasionally I have moments in which I'm content with it. I just hope I'm feeling the latter when the time comes.

Yes and no. It's tough to explain or even comprehend. I don't wanna die because then that's it. Everything you know is gone because you're gone. However, death isn't something I worry about. Whether it happens tomorrow or years from now, once I'm dead I won't know any different. As far as I'm concerned, there are no consequences for death. I just don't want anybody to cry at my funeral because I don't want my death to bring down the people close to me.

What's crazy is that I'd rather jump out of an airplane than do some things that regular people do. I also am afraid of heights.

Death and dying are two different things. Death itself is just whatever happens when/after you die. I'm not scared of that - more curious.

But dying? The process leading to death? Yeah, that's scares me. Technically, we're dying right now, but what scares me is the possible pain that will occur right before I die.

I'm only afraid of dying with a lack of good memories, of course, I'm only 22 so maybe as I get older death itself will scare me more

    Afraid or dying...

    Hmm...

I guess we are all dying, slowly but surely. Afraid? No, not at the moment.

I am dying, but I am not afraid is my answer.

No, it is the easiest thing you will ever do because you will have no consciousness and so you won't even know it happened. When you are dead you are completely incapable of knowing you are dead.

I Will choose life given the option, but death claims us all, its just another adventure.

No, but that is not uncommon amongst the young. I've been told by elderly people that the closer you get to the end of your life, the scarier death becomes.

    We'll see.
