    Although they do look a bit scary, I don't think I'm scared of them. I actually really love sharks, I think they're brilliant.

      I've touched a shark before. They're amazing animals. Their skin is incredibly rough. It's completely different to dolphins, who are smooth and rubbery (I've touched one of them too, which makes it sound like I've got a thing for touching animals :S). There's something I really like about their goofy grins and the general shape of a shark that's somehow brilliant. There's no end of good facts about them too. They're one of the oldest animals on the planet; their subclass is well over 400 million years old. And they don't stop swimming, even while they're asleep they just keep going. Definitely one of my favourite animals.

    Nahh. Not really. If I were swimming in the ocean and came face to face with one, that's a different story.
    I think people are more afraid of things that they can actual encounter on a day to day basis..well, for the most part. I'm afraid of bugs / insects..whatever you want to call them. They can be anywhere at anytime. Sharks...ehh, not so much.

    Rarely. Really only when I am in the ocean.

    .... or drunk at the aquarium.
