    I've never heard those words before; I'm not sure what's wrong with plain old dominant and submissive :P

      I dont know the first time I heard this was from a gay couple. I thought it sounded odd and have no idea where she got it but apparently its the name for it. Shes was also a bit of weebo fangirl though and apparently fangirls use this term a lot according to what I read on the internet. I have no idea where it comes from though.

    Well, yaoi doesn't exactly mirror real life relationships, but if I had to choose then uke. But that being said, a lot of time the bottom or uke is just as persistant in real life, and just as likely to ask someone out, and just as likely to be taller. It's because of all of the innacuracies that I've never gotten into yaoi. I think it's probably like that because they write it for women.
