Are you a partier or partied much when you were younger?

I just want to see how many of you were partiers like in high school, college or still are.

I myself don't really party much the only time I'll go and party is if a friend would come along or a friend asks me. There is no way I would be able to go to a party a lone considering I'm a girl and plus I don't think its fun getting "drunk". I don't mind being tipsy but that is as far as I'll go. I'm in college and theres always parties going on around here.

Also my neighbors are always partying, have their music blasting, playing cornhole, getting drunk as ever and smoking pot. They normally are all guys over there too.

I try not to seem awkward walking out of my apartment considering I really don't talk to them. I say hi to them every now and then and a few times asked how they were doing, but that is it.

I didn't party at all at school. Nobody ever invited me anywhere and it all seemed kind of infantile anyway, like you'd hear about someone turning up to a party with his underwear on the outside of his trousers and my judgemental and sarcastic side would think, "Oh, what a super jape. This is wit beyond even Oscar Wilde".

Then I went mental and became an idiot too. Drank wine out of a French woman's shoe, broke a few bones, peed on a tramp, started a revolution, bought a Romanian's sister. Just a few selected highlights. This is just the stuff I remember. I'm constantly reminded by friends about the stuff I don't remember. Most of it is even more asinine.

At least you HEARD about them wearing their underwear, I didn't even get that gossip!! I never even heard that there had been a party!

I only went to parties when I was a child. Now I don't go to them at all.

It's okay that you don't like to party. Alcohol can make people act like jackasses.
Do what makes you happy and stay safe.

I never partied when I was in high school... but that's probably because one, I weirdly enough never heard the word mentioned in school, and two, if there was one, I was never invited.

Also, if I found PROM and HOMECOMING dull, why on earth would I find a stereotypical teenage party interesting?

Eventually you get to a point in which you notice partying is just slowly deteriorating your body. Getting drunk is legitimately pointless, even in the short run. Mostly you always regret what you did the previous night and spend the rest of the day recuperating. Pot also has a hangover type effect that just slows you down mentally. If used in a recreational manner, moderation is the key.

I don't go to parties either, nor have I been to one. I think it's kind of immature hearing kids talk about "How drunk they got." lol

I partied at the weekends from the age of 17 until I became a mother - then my life ended, until he was 5 years old and could be left with his dad at nights. Then I started to party (live) again :o)

I love people and having a good laugh and a dance.

I used to drink with a group of friends and sometimes I still do. But as far as straight out partying, clubbing, room full of people most of whom I barely know getting drunk partying? No.

I am a professional now, and only party on weekends. But I do still hit downtown every Saturday night!

While in high school and college I would get drunk every single night, always at the biggest parties. If there were no parties on a certain night, you could rest assured there would be one at my house. Most of these nights I would also smoke a good amount of pot! Occasionally eating mushrooms as well!

I had a lot of fun when I was younger but I have grown up some now.

I don't really party much. I'd only ever get drunk around people I would consider genuine close friends, never people I "kind of know" or strangers. I wouldn't feel comfortable enough to have fun at a huge party with more than a couple of people I didn't know. But I do find it a lot of fun so long as I'm friends with everyone.

Clubs with pounding music and people throwing up left, right and centre are another story entirely. I can't stand them.

I want to party but I never been to a party in my whole life. And I do like getting drunk, but I've always done it alone though.

People seem to confuse me quite often with some partygirl who also goes by Nora. I usually just smile and nod. *shrug*

  • Alcohol, crappy music, no room, drunk people, people trying to talk to you when you don't want to talk to them...No, I wasn't.
I went to one, and never again.

I don't drink, so me being there would be pointless. There are better things you can do with alcohol.

I was a hearty partier for years. Drinking, smoking, acid, extacy. I don't remember a lot of things and even now my memory is toast. I only drink a few times a year now, and just a few drinks. The thought of a hangover turns my stomach. No thank you.

I started partying at 16, then when I left school, the partying REALLY started. Would hit the clubs every night except for Mondays, buts thats only because clubs were closed on Mondays. Partied every chance I had into my early thirties, then slowed down. In 2009 when I got divorced, the partying started again till I met my gf. Now we only have social drinks, but I still enjoy playing loud music

I partied a lot for about 6 months of my freshman year, entered a dormant stage, then partied for about 6 months of my senior year. I'm afraid the party river has dried up for good now. It's just the same damn people all the time and I dk...it just gets old quick.

Hey, I feel ya. Some kids at college run with the stereotype and go ape every weekend cause it just is the "thing" you do at college. Yet, there's still a lot of kids that feel as if that's not there scene, and stay in or do other things than get smashed and party. I think a lot of people still bring a high school mentality to college, that if you don't party, you're a loser, loner, nerd, (insert derogatory comment here), or whatever else. But the truth is that its not everyone's cup of tea, and that there are more kids than you realize who aren't out every weekend, because they found what they like to occupy their time with, and not what everyone else does in theirs.
