    I never found women to be more mature than men. Women undergo physical developments three years before men do, and that's it. It also doesn't mean women are physically older, they just get into puberty earlier.

    It's a common misconception that women are more mature than men. Maturity is more of a mental state, which can be achieved at any age (or never). It has nothing to do with gender.

    It's very general to suggest that.

    I know a lot of girls who are around my age(23), but act like they are 16.

    I, myself, find I take on life in a way older than myself or people of my age group. I consider this a fault. I don't want to look back on my life and see that I lost out on my wild years because I was reserved, calculated, and responsible. I want to remember some glory days, too.

    I find I don't connect with people of my age group, because they aren't close to my capacity of knowledge, understanding, and reasoning. They usually lack manners and respect of others, as well.

    But back on the topic at hand, I find guys are the same way. Either ahead, on point, or behind.

    I notice, however, that women care about how they are perceived more. They take on parental natures early, too. It could be this that seems to put them ahead?

    What's the point in that? Oh! You mean physically? Like, they reach puberty faster? That's a bunch of horseshit.

    I get it now! You mean they tend to ask themselves why older guys give them funny looks so they figure out about sex before some boys their same age do?

    I believe that girls mature faster than boys, thus they have to sort of down themselves down when they reach high school. Eventually though they stop acting dumb and it becomes their regular mindset

      I was just watching a show about a male being recorded going on a holiday of partying and booze, there was also a female person that the same was being done to. The male got drunk as he intended to do on holiday, and while he noticed his friend was way too drunk. The man realized that they had enough and needed to go home, so he helped his majorly drunk friend home, ensuring he was safe even though he was also drunk. The females did the opposite. They were drunk, one friend was majorly drunk, they took their time taking the friend home, carried her in the appartment, not doing a very good job of it while laughing that she was hitting her head on walls. They then continued to go out and drink.
      Their appartments were then inspected; the males room was clean, clothes hanged up, only the odd couch pillows being on the floor. The females appartment was a mess, clothes everywhere, everything on the floor, booze all over the place.

      It showed that despite both of them being drunk the males on the show showed that they were more matured.

      Don't think that just because someone is loud and wanting to have a good time that it makes them immature.

        I know not to judge a book by its cover. I've met people who do drugs yet do well in school.

        I'm merely theorizing the maturity level of women and how high school plays a factor on it. Also, that sounds like a very interesting program.

            To answer yes or no you'd need to measure the mental maturity of every individual then rank it to see which gender has a higher average at certain ages.

              The majority may behave in a less physical manner.

              But does that make them more mature?

        I think they mentally mature faster than boys. However, in high school their hormones begin to take over and realize that they want a boy. If you hang around stupid people you become stupid yourself. Of course, this doesn't apply to every girl. I've met girls who are my age,18, who had no interest in dating when they were in high school. They were actually very mature.

    I guess this is about maturity? I really don't know about 7 years but I find that I'm more compatible with guys about 4 years older than me...so I would say 4 years lol.
