These Homeland Security people are a lot of blacks. I guess with Obama, that kind of makes sense. But it makes me nervous having all these black people in charge of the country's security. We usually go to the Thanksgiving parade in NYC. Not this year. I'll not bring my family there. The NYC Police Chief seems capable but the Mayor is a liberal. Like the French President. That's what terrorists like. Makes things easier for those bastards. Is this a normal fear? Is my racist attitude in this matter well-founded? I have no confidence in blacks or liberals to protect us. 9/11 was a surprise. Shame on them. Should it happen again, then shame on us.

    I think its normal to feel scared,but these black people are also Americans and have families here too so viewing them as other human beings I trust them but I dont trust people in general,it has nothing to do with race,their is good and bad in every creed!

      I think the actual quote for that was even more bumbling and stupid. Bush had to have been one of the worst public speakers to ever make president.

      Although I will say this..whenever someone asks me what I think of Obama, I always say that at least Bush looked genuinely uncomfortable when he was lying to everyone.

    Um, 9/11 had nothing to do with black pepple. There was a white inbred hillbilly in the White House named George Bush who was responsible for that mess in addition to the disaster called the Iraq War and plunging the country into economic depression.     If it makes you feel any better, I'm Egyptian and my mother is in Homeland Security. I can assure you that all is fine. Your fear is not misplaced of course, it makes sense, but once again I can assure you that all is well and there is nothing to be afraid of.

    Safety and Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.

    I think that's highly stereotypical, you can't group everyone of the same race In one category, I mean everyone's different, and yeah Io get you're being cautious and don't feel as though you can trust 'the blacks' but then again who can you really trust nowadays? Race is just a bloomin colour to me, some people have just been born and raised where theres too much sun, and others haven't.. point is, its all about the personality.

    Just go to the parade AND HAVE FUN! If you die, then you were meant to die and if you don't and you come back safe then great for you.

      Race isn't limited to skin color. There's other major differences such as: behavior,intelligence, bone structure,smell, testosterone/estrogen levels, etc.
