Are top hats really that weird

Ok so I am a proponent to top hats, I think they are the bee's knees. From what I have been told people dont have the same view on them. So is it normal that I prefer top hats over other forms of head wear.

    you better be kidding i am topping it all the time. plus i wear a frock coat and vest usually so i am aslways dressed up

    well I've seen guys even girls wear em...they come across as eccentric people.

    the thing is i also play guitar, but dont want to be the guy thats trying to be slash. he kinda is the be all end of of top hats and guitars
