Are they really there?

since I was little, I've always seen things in the shadows. I don't know what they are, they're just... there. And I know that They arn't just straining eyes in darkness because it's starting to happen during the day. Just these big shapes that dart across my vision. they move and they whisper things, but I can never make out what they're saying. I promise that I'm not high are an alcohalic. I'm not skitzofrenic or insane- i've been tested. But for as long as I can remember, they've been here, taunting me. and now all these wierd dreams have started up... I'm scared. I keep getting so angry latley, and with my anger the visions (if that's what they are) are getting worse. Does everyone go through this? Or am I just messed up?

Have you ever had brain trams? Injured your brain in an accident. This is not in the range of what I would consider "normal" behavior/feelings. I suggest seeking professional help, given the brief history you shared, it would appear as though this will only get worse over time.

I was afraid of darkness all my life. I know I can not to live in village where there are no sounds, lights and people. But I was serving in army and my life was not so easy. I still have no mental disease. So I think it is normal.

That's not your fault. It's normal but it's unusual, I would control my thoughts on it, try to ignore it.

Not one. (at cman50) As far as physically and mentally, (ha ha) I'm completely healthy. No one can find anything wrong in either place.

I don't consider this normal, but if you've already undergone a psychiatric evaluation and they've found nothing, it would be interesting to know about any other medical history, such as allergies. My allergist said that in some cases, hallucinations can occur.

    I'm curious about two things:
    1. Does it only happen, say, at home? Or anywhere? Or only certain types of places?
    2. Have they always said stuff (whether you could make out their words or not), or is this a new development?

I also find it interesting that it increases when you're angry. I'd be asking a neurologist or the like whether there is something electrically wrong with your brain. It could be an unusual manifestation of epilepsy. Get that checked. :)
