Are these normal to see?

This doesn't happen very often but every once and a while, I start to see the little silver dots. There are a bunch of them that just crawl around in random patterns, like bugs, across my vision. So I just watch them and after about 5 seconds, I get dizzy and everything starts to fade out. Then right before I feel like I'm gonna pass out, everything goes away and it's like nothing ever happened. Is this normal?

It's normal, it's actually the protein in your eyes and everyone else can se them if they look at them a certain way. I asked my doctor about this and this is what he said to me

Tiny, like little dots of light? Thousands of them? If yes, and they move randomly even when your eyes are still, that's completely normal. They tend to appear when you look at bright white or blue objects - the sky, or a brightly lit blue piece of paper or wall etc. You're seeing the white blood cells in the capillaries in the back of your eye.

Small, a little blurry, not that many of them, move slowly and lazily seem to jump away when you try to focus? They're bits of dust, cells, microorganism or extracellular junk stuck somewhere in your eye. They move slowly because your eye is slowly trying to focus on them and jump when your eye moves because they move with your eye. They're annoying, but there's nothing you can do except forget that you're seeing them.

Are they like silver dots, or gold ones? because I get regular "stars" sometimes, and it is common to "see stars" if you get dizzy or get a headache, but if this is happening a lot I might try looking into it further on the internet.

Everytime I look at a bright light and look away, I see these little colored floater thingies that cloud my vision. It's kind of fun to look at, but also slightly disturbing. I think your eye floaters are normal, at least you are not seeing rainbow floaty things.

It can be normal if you are myopic , or it's just condensations of the vitreus ( the gel that fills the eye) but any way you should see a ophtalmologist.

You're seeing the effect of a chemical in your eyes. It is excreted from your eyes to keep your eyes seeing well in intense light.

Maybe you should get it checked out just in case.

The silver dots your reffering to is actually healthy bacteria on the surface of your eye.

Happens to me all the time. Especially when I haven't slept properly in a while.

I get that as well, but I don't pass out or get dizzy or anything.

i get those black vision dot things right before i faint. it's a good thing because i can quickly tell someone, or lie down... some sort of warning system. lol. you might have anemia, fatigue and dizziness problems, and/or vision problems. you need to get that checked ASAP.

I have that... I've had it since I was 5. I get that when I'm dizzy, like when I turn my head round and look at my back. I used to think it's just a concuscion. I didn't reallize other people had it too! It's not normal, but it's nothing to worry about. :)
