Right? Dosent any one remmber when people thought earth was the center of the universe? or when we thought that you could fall off the end of the planet....
there has to be life out there the universe is to big for just us. To many things collide in outer space for there not to be other worlds and life forms out there
say the chances of life arising on any given planet is one in a billion. thats a pretty safe assumption. but whats crazy is that even if the chances of life were that low, there would still be a MILLION life inhabited planets in the universe!
For all we know, we could just be a microscopic hunk of goo on some god's shoe...think about it...we only understand the "world" in terms of our knowledge of this world alone.
Of course there's life out there. How could there not be? Will we ever make contact? Hard to say, since we live in the the back woods of our galaxy. Maybe if we lived closer to the galactic core we would have some contact, but then we'd run the risk of more cosmic radiation from the galaxy. more importantly, would we want to make contact? Stephen Hawking, arguably the smartest man in the world, compare our meeting an alien civilization to when Columbus met the Native Americans. It didn't end too well for the Natives, if you get my drift.
It's almost certain that there is/was/will be other life forms within this universe.
With like 10 to the power of 32 stars, and 15 billion years gone by, the chances of other life form existing goes way high.
There's also, according to string theory, an infinite number of universes overlapping our own, we just can't see them; so yeah... lot's of life =o.
if when u say world u mean planet yes, if u say world and u mean civilization then, how the fuck could we find out, but maybe
There is evidence everywhere, but people still refuse to believe. It's sad.
yeah, God has to do something with his free time. making other species/beings is a side project of his (since humans turned out so terribly), but he makes sure to space out their living zones enough so they will never come in contact with one another.
I love how "yes, for sure" is the most common answer... as if we could be sure about something like that LOL.
Of course. If there's life on this infinitesimally small planet, then there must be some in the incredibly large universe out there.
I follow DR.WHO like a fact. So yes, there are other worlds out there, but if we discover this before i die, i would be terrified.
If you say that we're the only ones, maybe you should double check your understanding of how massive the universe is?
It's a little self centered to think that in the entire universe we're the only ones
the universe is so big. to think that we're the only intelligent beings would be arrogant.
If the universe is infinate then coincedences could and shall occur. Although I think that it is very unlikely that we will ever make contact, there doubtless other planets with life form on (even maybe just plants and insects).
Well we can't just be the only damn planet with living things. The universe is endless so yes I'm pretty sure there are other living beings out there somewhere.
Yes! :3 Baba Vanga, the lady who predicted 9/11 and many other things said that we would come in contact with aliens and supposedly learn how to breathe underwater. She also predicted that once Earth dies that everyone from our planet would be shipped out to other worlds living with other "kinds". I believe that they are real, but I don't think we should be scared or fear them.
I strongly believe we're not the only ones! Remember no one knows how huge the solar system is !! Should be over ten mystical, weird, strange, ugly and creepy living species out there
