Are suicidal/homocidal thoughts always bad?

Is it always bad that I tend to think about ways of killing myself or someone else. I have no intention of ever following through on it. I have way too much to live for. My mind just drifts to wether I would have to be running 110 mph to kill myself by hitting this or that while driving. And I think about how to kill someone and get away with it. There is noone I would want to kill though because I think everyone has the right to live their way right or wrong.

I was just curious. I can not act on any of this because I value life and individuality too much. But when you are bored and on the road things pop in your mind that are not nice sometimes. I tend to look at all angles of things.

A strange but real obsession. And depending on your state of mental health, these thoughts could commence to desires and so on until you cross the line. I wouldn't think a whole lot of it, but the fact that it concerned you enough to express it here concerns me.
