Are picky people high-maintenence?

Hi, I have a friend who is a really picky person. She will refuse to date certain men despite having great personalities if she feels they don't have 100% of the looks she wants. When it comes to foods if she even finds a trace of something in it she doesn't like she'll send the whole thing back and ask for a new one.

Is my friend high-maintenence?

    thats good advice from joybird, never send food back, and yr friend sounds tiring

    haha If there's one thing we all know it's Never send food back into a kitchen!!

    So she found a hair, and now she's eating the chef's spit!!

    I hope she's not so picky that she never meets anyone before her own looks fade. Anyway, what makes her think she's too gorgeous for these guys? She needs to get a life, and ASAP!

    I'm highly selective on much, it keeps me as me. I am very low maintanence though, highly self sufficient. I want something to be good, edible, useable and that passes for me. I'm picky with certain foods, I don't know why but I just can't eat sausage. I'm selective over foods, but if I don't die/get sick. I'm fine

    Im picky about cloths but thats about it. i don't like to look fancy though so i wear sweats and rarely ever brush my hair.... so not necessarily

    It depends on if I am in a position where I "have to" somehow accomadate their picky tastes. Such as if I am cooking a meal and have to come up with something a picky guest would like. If they are picky about more personal stuff, I just leave it up to them.

    Thats ridiculous, yeah looks should matter but 100%, most likely she would be with the most fun loving a**hole.

    But anyways, I am picky with guys too but I'm not high maintenance. I care about others just as myself. Also I love food, so no restaurant would ever really has a problem with me.

    Picky people are high maintenence but that is not a bad thing. I am the same way about my food. It is about self respect and caring about what you are putting into your body. I also happen to be selective about looks in partner but it is good to have standards. Again self respect. That is just my opinion anyway.

    If someone is high maintenance that doesn't mean that they're a bad person. It's possible they choose not to settle for anything less than what they feel they deserve. Sounds bratty but nowadays I think we all feel that we're entitled to something.
