Are my symptoms normal, or a cause for concern?

I have headaches mainly on one side of my head, and as of late, Ive had trouble remembering things. My vision has been blurred too, but thats mainly alergies I believe, or I hope. Are these things normal, or a cause for greater concern?

Actually you could have had what is called a mini-stroke and still be alive. Please go see a doctor right now - emergency room if you must. My friend had a similar experience and by the time he got to the doctors he had had a stroke and some damage had been done. It could just be the allergies, but better safe than sorry.

I don't know how long "as of late" is, if its been a week or so then meh it isn't the first thing that popped into my head. And I don't know how severe the headache is.

    Buuuut.

A stroke is basically when a clot happens in the brain and the vessel will rupture and bleed into the brain. Common symptoms are severe and sudden headaches that occur usually on one side of the brain, this would of course inhibit your brain functions which could in turn inhibit optical sense if its in the right part. Usually though, if "as of late" has been like over 5-7 days or something a lot longer, it isn't a stroke. Well, because you'd be dead.

A good way to check for a stroke is to have somebody lift both of your arms so they are parallel to the ground, then release them. If when you try to keep your arms up, one sort of falls, you may have had a stroke or something else inhibiting your nervous system. This is because the bleeding on the one side screws with your nervous system.

If "as of late" is the past half hour, go see a doctor immediately, stroke can cause severe brain damage and death.

Hope I don't scare you, just the first thing that popped into my head...
