I think you shouldn't criticize any race, religion, or nation based on your own opinion. You simply don't have the rights to do that or do you wanna play god here deciding what's right and what's wrong for everyone?
I think that fundamentalist Muslims are overly expansionist. I heard recently that some Muslims were protesting Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany, because it "offends" them. I think people who are so entitled and easily offended ought not immigrate to more liberal Western countries. Additionally one of the biggest problems in more liberal Western nations, the United States included, is that they are not more prohibitive in whom they allow in their countries!
I'm a big fan of the very old saying, "when in Rome do as the Romans do". Immigrants ought to be willing to assimilate to the culture of the country they settle in rather than seeking to destroy the culture, and replace it with their own.
Angela Merkel and Barack Obama are two of the worst world leaders there are today, because they're destroying their nations.
If I immigrated to Saudi Arabia I wouldn't act like an American. If a Muslim wants to immigrate to the US/EU than they better accept and assimilate into our respective cultures. They can have their beliefs as long as they don't force their views onto us
I partially agree. For example if I moved to Saudi Arabia I wouldn't act like an American so the same should apply for Muslims immigrating to the US/EU
It's a cult like all religions, the difference is it spreads like a disease that feeds off those who are easily brain washed because they have no future.
The muslim religion is out of date and out of touch with the needs of those who would believe.
Hell, even the catholics are simplifying the religion and trying to bring it more in tune with the times and the needs of the people.
My take on this:
Lets start with clarifying things first.. There are 1.7 billion people (out of a total of approx. 7 billion) who call themselves "muslim".
In order to answer your question objectively, you have to answer these questions first
1. Which muslims would you mean? Arabs/Arabized/Persians/Asian/Southeast Asian/Turkish/Russian/European...? If you're surprised of all these ethnicities, you mustn't assume that a muslim population within them does not exist, as a matter of fact, this did not just happen because of immigration and political asylums. It is all part of history.
2. Are you economically/politically ready to banish all people within that 1.7 billion figure from the west? (Including: doctors, scientists, professors, businessmen, investors, etc.)
If so, where would you put them? Take them back to their countries you might say, well, then some of "our" countries would have to withdraw from their countries in return.
3. Now answer this, where are "their" countries, and "our" countries? We would need a whole new map for this.
Let me state my opinion.. now that we know the difference between a muslim and some group of people you might not really be in favour of, I can confidently deduce from your logic that if muslims were too conservative for the west, then so is the Pope.
All in all, don't stress your mind with these unanswerable questions, just believe that everyone is responsible for their own actions... In the end, religion is a lifestyle, it is not a characteristic.
