Are more women slightly bi than men?

I have two friend who are identical twins. They obviously have the same genes, but one is straight and the other Lesbian. This makes me wonder that if the circumstances were right, such as there are no people of the opposite sex whether we might be bi or gay

I'm a straight woman & might have sex with a woman if there was no man 24
I'm a straight man & might have sex with a man if there was no woman 18
I am a straight woman and I could never be bi 4
I am a straight man and I could never be bi 27
Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

Probably about the same amount for both. I think for women it's more socially acceptable to be a little bi-curious. Men just don't usually talk about it as much or draw as much attention to it.

It's not that women are slightly more bi than men, it's that being bi as a women is more socially acceptable than to be a bi man. Men are scared to give into their bi side, because a lot of people don't label a guy as bi, they are either a gay cock sucking faggot, or they are straight. And then there are a lot of women who wouldn't even consider dating a guy who is bi, no matter how straight he seems.

It may seem like there are more bi women than men, but that's not the case. It's just that men have to stay on the DL and meet people off craigslist, or deal with the sexist consequences.

Sexuality is all socially constructed. Look up the Kinsey Scale. Men are just as "bi" as women biologically and psychologically. But socially they are forced to choose gay or straight with no middle ground.

A lot of women that claim to be bi are more like bi-friendly, as in, they will let a woman do things to them and they'll kiss and touch and such, but they won't go down on another woman. I think it's ironic that many of these women think it's some sort of crime if a guy won't go down on them.

Luckily for me, my main paramour is really a bi woman and life is very good in my kingdom.

  • Meeeeeeeeeh, yes and no. I think it might be possible but not due to women just naturally being more likely to be bisexual but due to society's view of bisexual women compared to bisexual men. For a woman to be bisexual it's "hot", for a guy to be it's "gross", "Faggy", and so on.

I think it's more fashionable for women to be bisexual and more damaging for a guy to be bisexual. This means more womenwill be free to experiment and some will happily fake being bisexual, where as men aren't as free to do so without the stigmas attached and more likely to lie about being bi.

If I was forced to ignore the individual sexual degree of males and females, then I'd say yes.

I think that's because in general, girls are more "comfortable" when talking amongst each other in a slight sexual way.

Like, with my straight friends and I, we could be like, "Damn! Your ass is looking sexy in those jeans" and none of us would be uncomfortable. But it's hard to imagine (correct me if I'm wrong) straight guy friends being like, "Your arms look so sexy in that shirt, man" without it getting awkward.

Due to this, I think that it's easier for females to accept the idea of possible bisexuality. And again, this is all completely in general.

"Are more women slightly bi than men?"

It's literally impossible to say for certain, at least at the moment.
