Are middle children more compatible with affectionate, sensitive partn

I am a middle child and very independent, strong and confiden femalet. I don't show a lot of affection, but am drown to men who do. Would this have anything to do with being a middle child, and not having ever had as much affection or attention as a child growing up?

Would I ever be compatible with a true alpha male for example?

But back to my original question, are middle children more compatible with sensitive, affectionate, more caring and loving partners?

I'm the youngest so I wouldn't know. But my sister is the middle child and she dates dipshits so..no I don't think birth order plays a factor in the type of partner you choose.

I am a middle child and I am sensitive and drawn to men who are independent, strong and confident. No, that's only partly true. I have had romantic stories with men so different from each other. However I feel better with confident men.

...This seems like an idea born out of reading too many trashy articles referencing speculative psychology.

There's much more involved in shaping a person and their romantic and sexual preferences than whether or not they received equal affection to their siblings growing up. I wouldn't give it too much thought; too many variables to definitively single any out.

You are putting way too much importance into the Psychology of the situation. You don't have to know what you like to find someone you like. I'm an oldest sibling and psychologically speaking, I should be with someone who was a younger sibling but most of the males who I am romantically attracted to are the oldest siblings. I don't want a subordinate in a relationship, I want an equal partner.

Yes, your theory may be correct but middle children can go both ways. Either seeking what they are used to or seeking what they want and everyone wants different things. Seek what you want, not what a textbook tells you to want. It is all correlation evidence, no established causation.
