Me and my boyfriend were planning on taking some this weekend at his. Has anyone taken them before; if so, what should we expect? Any advice?

Shrooms are one of my favorites, some people prefer acid because you have more control with shrooms you go wherever they take you. For your first time do not take more than 3.5gs (1/8). If they are dried shrooms eat them with chocolate because they taste like ass.
Smoke weed if you want more intense visuals, it's definitely more of a spiritual experience. If you can be out in nature because its just amazing. Happy shroomin :)
Expect to trip fucking hard for about 4hrs. You should boil the shrooms in water for 20 mins and drink the tea you get a way better trip and your less likely to get a stomach ache. Keep the shrooms after you eat boil em you can still eat em latter.
I had them in Bali years ago, and it was a terrifying experience. If you are prone to depression, anxiety or anger, do not use hallucinogens. Otherwise, you'll probably be fine.
Be somewhere you feel comfortable and safe, if its inside you should tidy up the place a bit the day before, lots of good advice already on here. Try not to eat before taking them, 4+ hours beforehand. If it gets a little scary at first, remember you have nothing to worry about, shrooms will not harm you, just stay groovy and have fun.
Oh and wait around thirty minutes for first sign of takeoff if you're eating dried straight.
Personally not a fan of mushrooms. They are an emotional roller coaster. But definetly worth the experience. I have friends who love them. I recommend doing them outside in nature during the daylight hours.
Definitely go to www.erowid.com and do some research on there. I think everyone should experience LSD or psilocybin at least one time. But, being prepared for the trip is VERY important!
