Arctic apples iin?

What do the is it normal masses think? Apples that dont go brown artificial genes

Wikipedia
Arctic Apples are a suite of trademarked[1] apples that contain a nonbrowning trait (when the apples are subjected to mechanical damage, such as slicing or bruising, the apple flesh remains its original color)[2] introduced through biotechnology.[3][4] They were developed through a process of genetic engineering and precision breeding

No thanks. I won't discriminate against brown fruit. If it's been beaten and bruised, I shant turn it away to the trash like so many heartless snobs would. I shall eat it tenderly instead. If I slice it and leave it out long enough for it to start browning, I'll shall compliment it with cinnamon, then devour it wholly.

On a related note, I feel good about myself for that time I rescued a bunch of abandoned bananas from the garbage. Poor things, clutching to each other, crying. I love you bananas! You have so much appeal!

No, I don't want them. I don't mind a little browning on my apple.

I think things like seedless grapes are a wonderful innovation.
Some people are always trepidatious about innovation, like fluoride in the water, which I still, 50 years after it's introduction into the American tap water, hear the idiots prattle on about a government conspiracy.
Right now the crazies are on a kick to stop inoculations, which will harm so many more than the inoculations could ever do, themselves. Yeah, let's all take medical advice from a big titted, blonde ex-Playboy bunny, that's the ticket!

But maybe the browning is good for you...This is hardly an important thing anyway, don't know why scientists are wasting their time with that.

If those apples truly are what they are i.e. gene silenced then I'm all for trying them. I'm all for healthy and organic food but genetically engineered fruit is not the same as eg. hormonally manipulated fruit.

I want to read more in depth about the procedure to be completely reassured though becaise iirc a month ago a friend of mine who's some sort of chemist made a fb post venting his disapproval at the invention.
