Every couple of days I ride a local downhill mountainbiking trail near my area in full gear, helmet, goggles, arm and leg/shin pads etc... I often see a really nice looking girl walking her dog, when riding past I always catch her eye as all she can see of my face are my eyes. When riding off I always look back to see her still watching me, this has happened atleast 15 times. I want to take my helmet off and introduce myself but I am shit scared of seeming desperate or creepy/intimidating as talking to a random girl in the woods might seem a little 'rapey' jus' sayin' :) If this happened to you what would you think (girls) thanks for any responses if you read this far :)

    I was thinking of intentionally 'falling' near her because the trail runs directly above the footpath, so I'd basically fall 10ft down a bank and lie there until something happened :/ seems like a good way to start a conversation but I'd feel like a douche if she didn't come running, you only live once :P (unless I died while 'falling') thanks for the advice haha

    If I were a boy than I would kindly introduce myself or maybe make a nice comment like aw what a cute doggy what's it's name? and maybe ask to hang out or ask for her number

      I agree. Just stop and make small talk and of course take off your helmet and everything so she can see your whole face. She's seen you plenty of times so I don't think she'd be creeped out. Good Luck!

    Had a better thought this morning :) part of the trail needed rebuilding so I went down pretty early to try and get it finished today, needless to say she walked past after a couple of hours and I'm not sure if a topless man sweating like a pig covered in dirt turns girls on :/ but she came up to me and asked what I was doing and we started talking and I now have her number... somehow :P shy guys do get numbers! :)
