Anyone ever had to share the bathtub growing up?

I had to take baths with my sister when I was growing up. She was two years younger than me. This stopped when I was twelve and I was in sixth grade. My mom used to say that she only wanted to run the tub once. I grew up doing this since we were young, but I started to hate it when I was in fourth grade I think. I know we was poor, but is this common? We had a shower put in then and that changed everything.

    LOL yeah my brother and I used to bath together just for sheer convenience on my poor mother. He'd piss me off when he'd fart in the tub and push a little too hard though... HAHAHA funny memories.

    Me and my sister shared for years. Not a big deal. We also had a friend who would come in and sit on the toilet and wait for us to finish up so we could all go outside and play...

    Yeah. I loved my childhood.

    Normal I used to take baths with my cousins when I was little. At age 8 with a 6yo female cousin, at age 10-12 with my male cousins ages 5 and 9. Mom said it was to conserve water and run just one bath.

    My mom used to have my brother and I share the bathtub, but thankfully that stopped before I was 10, lol. The worst part is, she took so many pictures when we were like 2 and 4... it was crazy!

    yeah it's normal. I mean, my friends did that with their sibling. But I know they won't do that to their kids. It's just not necessary. I mean, saves a little water, but all in all I think it's a bit creepy

    I'm 20 years old and I share baths with my 53 year old Dad.
