Anyone else have random flashbacks/connections?

This may sound weird, but many times my mind makes connections between the oddest of things. Or I am reminded of stuff when there is no obvious relevance. It is like all my 5 senses go haywire

- I hear a car horn go off 3 times in short bursts. This triggers the memory of a specific part of a Pink Floyd song (cant remember which song now)
- I am laying on my bed now, sunlight pouring through my blinds. And I have the EXACT specific feeling I had when I was at an X-games exhibition 7 years. That day it was cloudy and cold, and I was outside! But now it's sunny and clear sky, but the cool room temperature and reflection of sunlight is the exact combination of that day. How bloody weird is that
- I groomed my cat and while running my fingers on him the coefficient of friction of his fur was identical to my gfs shaved legs when her and I were chilling at her porch months ago while it was raining
- I was brushing my teeth, the rhythm of the brushing sounds like the drumming in The Pilgrim by Iron Maiden
- I was once cooking with bell peppers and the smell reminded me of lovespell by Victoria Secret. Though this one I mighht be able to explain though. My gf loves cooking with peppers and she wears that VS body lotion. So maybe my mind made that association

The list goes on. It is so disorienting because whenever this happens I zone out IRL and am "caught up" in that moment and feeling from the past. It is NOT the same feeling as deja vu. It is not the same feeling as daydreaming. I have never done drugs

Is this a common phenomenon or am I mental?
