It seems like your definition of intelligence is very emotional, and not literal like dom was implying. Because the argument whether humans are the smartest or not is so redundant that it doesnt even need arguing
Why do you believe in and yearn for a perfect world? The world strictly obeys balance. Go drink one liter of water and see how your body will compensate. Water is only good no?The more the world gets civilized, the more corruption there will be. The gap between the rich and poor will always grow larger. Which will fuel the problems of the world
You speak of independent thought. Yet your sources of knowledge are based off of feeds from media. Media. It is needless to elaborate that word but I will. Derived from medium, you know, how a magnifying glass is a medium, or 3D glasses are. Don't judge people's actions before understanding their motivations. The same reason you are so hateful of humanity is the same wavelength many terrorists out there think with. The only difference is the information either of you have been fed with.
I'm not implying that the motive to kill is justified, but try backing a hungry and battered tiger into a corner and you'll see how it reacts
That you would even suggest that there is some justification for a group of armed men to murder some woman in Somalia because she did not choose to wear a veil, tires me beyond words.
Unfortunately for your argument, you think "your sources of knowledge are based off of feeds from media. Media." which is incorrect. I have been to the Sudan, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, and not with any tour or military organization. South East Asia, Japan, the middle east and Europe, as well. So no, my view is not from some media program. I live and travel in the 3rd world and believe me, it is a far cry from what your post implies. There is no balance, no god, and little hope in these places. Only certain, violent death, at the hands of people whose only reason for existence is killing all who are not like them. Nobody has backed anybody into a corner; you know not of what you speak.
fascinating. that even after I stated so explicitly how I wasn't justifying the need for people to kill (last sentence), which in turn implied that I actually agreed with you on that aspect, that was the very first thing you accused me of
now imagine you trying to establish your credibility via listing all the countries you've "toured," after you gave an example of your tunnel vision in interpreting something someone said, and it's not even like I was speaking in Arabic. Clearly, you only see what you want to, and evidence of that has exhausted my interest in what seemed like a good debate with you. I seriously need to be less gullible and realize there aren't that many people capable of dual-perspective. But hey, there's a silver lining. I didn't even have to list the countries I "grew up" in as a crutch, probably because this is the internet. And that I poked my pinkie in Barack Obama's belly while jet-skiing in Mars. True story. Cheers
anyone else have a good explanation for religion like I do?
