Any advice for a female in the military

I'm going to ship out to basic training in September. So I was just wondering if there was any advice young women should take while in the military.

In all seriousness, watch out for rape. It is an epidemic in the military.

I would say, eat a lemon before bed, for at least a week. Then increase that to two lemons a day. And bathe in a lemony lemon filled lemon.

Do not become emotionally or physically involved with any of your military compatriots.

What if one of her military compatriots is 42 years her junior?

it would have to be the other way around, there are tons of older men in the military especially in respectable positions who love hot young things. plus in an environment like the military it's all about being subordinate to your superior officers so it plays really well into that aspect of submissiveness and dominance.

Congratulations! As for advice, follow orders, take mental notes of what you do and what you are told.

Most orders are rubbish, but the ideas behind them are not. It's a way to teach you discipline and self-discipline! A thing that 99 percent of all males in my country are missing! Cause I bet you any money, the toughest mofos at the club will probably cry and wet themselves when you give them a gun and tell 'em to run around a bit in full combat gear!

Tho I wouldn't recommend fulltime service...

One of the major issues with females in the military is the way the guys behave around us.

Many, many males will compete for you, even if you are a lesbian or say no. They just won't stop. The longer you are in the field and they are away from their partners, the harder they will chase. Give it a few months in the combat theater and you will be beating them off with a stick. It makes your job hard to do. :(

If your presence is disruptive, even if you are not to blame at all, you will be stationed elsewhere. Do not let a bunch of horny, immature little shits mess up your career.

Advice, do not go in unless you are an officer. The only thing they are going to listen to is the chain of command, and only if you beat their ass with it! Treat them all like horny teenagers and you shouldn't have a problem, if you are lucky.

Watch out for rape. Rape is a real problem in the military for both men and women.

Not only are there assaults among those who are the same rank as you, but there have been stories of commanding officers forcing their subordinates into sexual compliance with threats. Sadly, it's been said that reporting rape is difficult depending on the rank of the rapist, and justice isn't always guaranteed.

My advice would be to learn martial arts, and take R.A.D self-defense classes before you go. It'll make basic training a little easier, and help you fight off anyone who tries to force themselves upon you. Also, this is optional, but maybe look into getting birth control like the IUD or Implant that can work between 3 - 12 years depending on which brand you get, so if you do find yourself in a bad situation that can't be fought out of, at least you don't have to worry about pregnancy.

Hopefully, your time in the military will not be as bad as others, but there's nothing wrong with being prepared.
