Anti war

Where do you think the anti war attitude comes from? I think some of it stems from fear of going off to war, to witness violence against humanity. To actually be in the violence and to be a macine.

And my old friends Pol Pot of Cambodia, Kim Jong Il, Adolf Hitler, Fidel, Milosevic, Sudan and Hamas? They never attacked USA either! Just used some effective population control on undesirables. Leave them alone! Osama? Never met him, but he never even set foot in the USA. America has got to stop trying to protect weak people in far off lands! No to war! Yes to Code Pink!

The only american wars I could fight in and feel justified are the Indian wars. I'd fight with the Native Americans.

Anti-war protesters are naive and believe that all problems can be talked out. When the fact is that many wars are caused by dictators who will do anything to have more power. When you have that kind of lust for power no one is stopping them unless by the barrel of a gun.

No one believes all problems can be talked out. It's just that some of us believe we should do some talking before all the shooting.

I think people who are anti-war, or attempt to protest and push peace will always end up disappointed. Peace will never exist in this world unless every single person wants it.

And that will never, ever happen.

It's normal to not want to initiate violence, through yourself or through others. The opposite is what you've got to worry about.

You're anti-war because you have some sense of morality.

All violence users (initiators of violence) are terrorists. This includes governments.

It's time to try a voluntary society.

I'm currently in the Army right now stationed at Ft. Benning and I'd have to say that anti-war feelings stem from political BS people are too stupid to understand but think they do anyway. War is dumb, yeah, I wish we could've just went "Ok, Bin Laden, kill yourself please"... "Okay USA I will." but things are never that simple. I have to admit, I was excited back when Iraq and Afghanistan got kicked off because I never imagined Id see a war in my lifetime. Now that I have, I never want to see another one as long as I live. People dying, thats all war is and its terrible. You've known someone for years then one day they get shot and die. Id have to say war is pointless if there isnt a major cause behind it, and the last war I can think of like that was WW2.

Of course I'm anti-war. If I want to pass a law that everyone in Iraq must like me, why is it any other country's business if I execute lawbreakers? The Kurds, Shiites, Jews, and little Kuwait next door... they bug me, I kill 'em. I didn't bomb USA, so why should they bother me?? Too bad for me that Barack Hussein was just a community organizer instead of president.

Sometimes you need a bad, wicked war to create extended periods of peace and prosperity throughout the world for several generations.

    Example, World War II.

Otherwise, it's counterproductive and produces more problems than it solves.

Scared to go to war? WTF

I myself find the war in Iraq a fucking waste of time - why should innocent solders be sent a nation that obviously doesn't want help?

Believe me leave Iraq and let them fuck up and realise they were wrong and they be crying to the UN for assistance and foodaid in no time.

If i felt that we where really fighting a war on terror, id be first in line. But im not going to war just so that i can die in population control, or to push the ideals of the NWO

Having served in the military I can say that this is a crock of sh!t. I'm not against all war, but most wars are friggin stupid. The people most for them usually aren't the veterans. This Iraq war was moronic for a few reasons. One of the big reasons I always opposed it is because it is going to kill our economy. We increased spending and decreased taxation, while still in debt despite whatever urban legend people heard about the national debt being solved. On top of it, there was a huge amount of misinformation that sent us to and kept us in war. Fact is most people are idiots though. I don't blame bush for sending us to war. The average american wanted war. We're way to cocky to think strategically. I'd wish we'd punish the arseholes who torture POW's though. I had three platoonmates taken POW and I wouldn't want that kind of crap done to them. Luckily the hitler wannabe milosevich wasn't as stupid and unethical as the government in charge now. And I am a friggin patriot. Real patriots stand up to their government when they loose their sense of ethics and sanity.

my version of war would be just 2 sides facing off armed with nothing but pies. the 2 sides would throw pies at each other until one side was completely covered with pie, and that side would lose. then both sides would get together and laugh like hell and have a big dinner together.

the next morning, of course, the losing side would report to the "killing machines", where every member of the losing side would be ground alive to bloody bits.

the anti-war feeling in this country comes from the fact that this war was useless and needless and unnecessary.Iraq wasnt involved in 911 and finally after being misled by Bush they are seeing that the war is a tragic waste of young American lives.

Anti-war sentiment probably comes from being a normal human being, and caring what happens to other human beings.

  • I'm not sure but I'm not a big fan of it! I only believe that we should declare war if there is a legitimate threat to our nation!
