Annoying voices? iin?

There is this guy who sits next to me in English class and whenever he talks to one of his friends or give presentations I swear I want to tape his mouth shut. It's not what he says, but how he talks- I'm positive it's not an accent so don't say I'm rasist. If he had a regular voice he would be a pretty okay guy (nice, but kind of boring), but if you have even heard anyone try to speak with a mouth full of peanut butter- that's him all the time! Oh, and the sound when you first bite into a soft apple. Those two things combined is his voice. One time he said the word 'milk', (which is an annoying word for me already) and it made my skin crawl. Just imagine a guy that sounds like the first bite into a soft apple, and a mouth full of peanut butter, I'm I the only one just aggravated by the thought??
But enough with my rant... Is it normal to get angry (in your head) if someones voice is annoying? Not what they are saying, but just the sound of their voice. Anyways, personally I don't think my voice is any better. I hate the way I talk, and I frequently attempt to experiment with speaking differently, only when I am alone (with different tones, emotions, accents, etc). Someday I hope to use my voice make-over for everyday speaking but I'm still working on it.

I loathe the sounds of my friends children, all of them. It's a challenge to keep it inside, I'm with ya!

This post made me laugh when I read the description of his voice. Everyone as their little issues. It's normal. If it's really bugging you try not to focus on his voice so much.

It annoys the hell out me when people say "And uh" when they talk, like they will go "Blah blah blah and uh blah blah blah". When I hear it I feel a surge of rage followed by an urge to kill the person but I would never do that for real though.

Yes, everyone has their pet peeves. Reading your post from a third person perspective though, I found your irritation with this guy's voice to be quite humorous :)

If you got to know the guy, you might find out he's pretty cool and his voice probably won't bother you anymore. Either that, or it will still bother you and you don't have to put up with it. What have you got to lose though?
