I dunno whether it's the mods or the posters themselves.
It's annoying when somebody replies to my comment on a post, and I go to check it, but the page can't be found.
I'm curious, dammit!
Chances are that if someone's post or comment was removed it was either:
-the person who made the comment or post or
-the mods removing them due to it being against the rules.
I remember I used to get email notifications whenever someone replied to my comments and posts. When a nasty reply to me was removed from the site before I could see it, I'd just check my email to see what the reply was. I'm not sure if they do email notifications anymore though. I'm good with or without it anyway.

Happened to me these days, I just asked the person whose name was on the notification what it was and they told me... now if it was the anony post author then that's it, you'll never know.
