Angry with some truths. what do i do?
I get angry when someone tells me what to do, or gives advice, that I know is true, but just don't want to do because it takes away from my independence I guess. It furiates me. Is this normal?

Certainly nomal, and I have the same problem. I know it's my false, but I don't want others to mention it.
This is totally normal, but also something which you really should try to work on.
We all have our own views of the world; the way that we interpret and understand and think about events, feelings, experiences. When someone provides an alternative interpretation; even one you recognize is more accurate than your own; it hurts our pride. This is called "cognitive dissonance." When you realize that what you thought you knew is wrong. Not only does this hurt our pride, but it's scary, because we realize that everything else we think we know could be wrong too.
So, the feeling is normal, but if you allow it to take over, you will close yourself off to other possibilities which could be pretty awesome. Also, you will be stuck in the reality you have now, and therefore will be unable to grow. And GROWTH is what it's all about!
Totally normal, some people just have a harder time acknowledging advice and truths than others. Don't worry, I have the same thing ;)
