Hi i am 27 years old and ever since i stopped using amphetamines i have been on and off of analgesic calmatives.
i have been using them now every day for exactly two years last thursday.
i know this because i kept using them when i got home from the hospital after having my fourth ceasar with my son. (very painful).
i use up to 40 tablets a day and i am trying to work out how to get off them with out it hurting lol.
i am scared because they can make me get really hot wen i have them and vommit.
they have also made me put on alot of weigth through the munchies side of it all.
i need to be normal agaian but all i can find on the internet is places to get it from not how to get off it and wether it is safe or even possible.

i am comfortable in saying that i live in western australia because while i do welcome the input from the USA its not much good to me cause they seem to have a really good service for people like me compared to aussie.
i am a single mum so if i try to get off of them i want it to be something i can do that is going to work because i am completely ready. thanks all.

    Sounds like your addicted, get some help. Go to a free clinic and ask for refferals.

    Please, stop. This isn't safe or healthy. If you needed something for effective and non-addictive painkilling, you could've have gone the herbal route. You probably shouldn't quit cold-turkey.

    That's good to hear!! Glad ur off them coz I know they stuff ur livers and I read ur profile and u have 5 children to think about!! Congrats for getting off them :)

      i did and he didnt really care or understand but since i posted this i have gotten off of them thanks to my boyfriend just cut me down

    My friend is addicted to them too!! She had a friend that use to take them and she got into them!! I really hate the person that got he into them because she has up to 10 to 20 tablets a night!!!

    Lots if people get addicted to opiate pain pills. It is very hard to quit but it is possible. Aside from going to rehab, the best way to quit is to taper your dose, like decrease your dose by 10% a week or something. This allows your body to slowly go back to normal while you're getting off the pills. If you quit all at once, the withdrawal can be quite hellish.

      that is so right and i wasnt doing it that way i was just trying to stop and it wasnt possible but i did it the way u said and now i am happy and skinny again through not having so much fluid i am a milf again he he he
