An optional like counter on everyone's profile?

I think it's a great idea. Nobody goes back after a while to see how every single comment goes along, and an optional like counter on one's profile sounds awesome.
Even better would be that if they did that, all your previous likes are collected so you don't start over.
Thoughts? Agree? What else would be a cool feature?

    Might as well add levels and classes too. This site could be a mmorpg.

    That's a bad idea.

    Some of the reg users care waaaaay too much about their thumbs status, and tend unnecessarily flip out. That would just clog up the recent comments section with a bunch of bitching on 1 yr old posts...

    The less people notice their thumbs status, the better.

    Keep total thumbs up in one counter and total thumbs down in another, so controversial people can be recognized.
