An old friend has buggered off since making friends with others

Well i made friends with this girl a long time ago and we were really close. after about a year or two at school we were put in seperate classes so we kind of drifted apart naturally. but just this year and last she hardly speaks to me since she has made friends with what she may think are the 'cool' people although i don't think they are particularly special. the main problem is quite a lot of my friends are friends with her and also i don't want to be seen as the moody and immature person who is ignoring someone etc. i don't think she is that nice if she can't be bothered to be friends with me. should i leave it as it is, she is clearly not a friend for life or should i resolve it..although i have unsuccessfully tried this a few times. please comment.

    I'd leave it, u r worth more. Just be polite and if she wants to be close friends let her do some work!

    This has happened to me...

    U have unsuccessfully tried resolving the friendship..That means she isnt worth ur care n friendly feelings...

    u will only get hurt in this process...U r worth more...

    it's normal...happens like that.
    I had a close friend once, and ever since he had his gf, he didn't bother hanging out with me.

    happens all the time.
    just look for another friend man.
