Americans, are you patriotic?

I am nowadays, yeah. I never was growing up because my family didn't exactly do a very good job of "selling" my own country to me lmao. As an adult I can appreciate it much better now that I understand what freedom -actually- means.

America is entirely based around a distrust of government, so I don't imagine too many people are.

I just think we should put all the oldass cunts that are in the government and put them in an underground bunker where they’re forced to eat each other. And then we can elect some young bright people to count votes. Y

People ask "why do you hate the government and claim to be patriotic" its because America is supposed to be run by the people. Not a nanny state government.

I use to be patriotic until I grew up and realized we were all being fucked. Than I ended up at a job where we all were underpaid and being paid less than all the company's around us. By like 3 dollars an hour less. At the time I had to go home to attempted sexual assaults' by my creepy as fuck roommate. I couldn't leave since I was renting a room and could not afford rent anywhere else with my shitty paycheck. Idiot was about ready to stick it in literally anything male or female. Than my Manager who was patriotic as hell telling us why the government was wonderful, that America was the greatest place on the planet and how democracy was amazing. Which I think is a joke since when you are being screwed over that bad, and watching your collogues getting screwed over like this how can you say the world is a great fucking place? No one in the office could afford rent, had no healthcare, and often were denied holiday since we were constantly understaffed. I not sure how this says that the world is a wonderful place but MERICA!

I am patriotic, but I don't trust the government(or the other people in this country) to do much right. I am patriotic only for the American ideals.
