I'm 30 and so happy my daughter is 5 and finally likes to watch Icarly and other preteen shows. I enjoy watching juvenile shows like "Icarly" and "Suite Life of Zack and Cody". I also watch "Secret Life of the American Teenager" and "Gossip Girl". Is that ok for me being 30 yrs old?
telewheels2001 sounds like a pediphile to me. i mean, sam is sixteen you perve! o and my dad is 50 and loves spongebob squarepants, icarly, hannah montana, and wizards of waverly place and watches them all the time with my little sis who is 5. even my 15 yr old sis watches them sometimes.

I am older than you, and I like iCarly. Disney produces great shows, so why not ?

I think it's perfectly fine. I enjoy TV shows such as The Simpsons, Family Guy, King Of The Hill, South Park, Trailer Park Boys, etc, and I'm almost 30 as well. People say it's immature humour, but I don't care. I enjoy it, and those shows make me laugh. So it's whatever you like! :) I also like Hannah Montana...
You're never too old, my cousin is almost 32 and watches kids shows with her 5 year old son. I've loved Spongebob since I was 7.. I'm 20 now and still watch it. :)
I felt the same way when my niece is over I like watching icarly and other shows.
My dAughter is 5 and I can't wait for her to be 8 and up. I know how u feel. It's totally normal.
I think it's normal, I turn my mom onto all those Nick and Disney shows. I say that if there's adults in the show, then adults can watch!
I'm 30 and my friend and I will call each other when a new Disney movie comes out. The ones they play on tv. I love watching those teeny bopper shows more than my daughter.
Plenty of adults enjoy these programmes. They're written by adults, if you think about it!
Yeah its normal some of those shows are really entertaing,. I love watching avatar: The last air bender and spongebob square pants.
of course its normal... ur not an adult until YOU actually are an adult.. not everyones the same! my boyfriends 29 n hes a cartoon ADDICT! i LOVE cartoons n im 21... n 30 isnt old man ..just bcuz a lot of ppl at dat age act old n mature ...doesnt mean everyone is..n who said toons were specifically 4 kids they kick ass!!!=D
Sure it's normal. You aren't already a child or a teenager but it's your taste.

As a trained psychologist, he explained that the issues that he deals with are of great importance in each of these groups. It's something that they encounter at those stages of life. Other TV shows and books have themes that make them popular (and make the true classics timeless). You are encountering many of the same issues that your daughter is, both in your life and in hers. Enjoy this time. Because you are older now, you will be able to recognize things that you didn't when you were her age. As you grow, you will eventually move on to other things, but you will have learned and grown both within yourself and with your daughter. What a precious time!! enjoy it!!
Totally normal - kids shows are fun, informative & get you into your inner kid!
I think this is more than ok. My grandfather (Goin on age 70) watches the lion king, all dogs go to heaven, and the jungle book. Also, I myself (age 20) enjoy icarly, ben 10, the incredibles, degrassi, wizards of waverly place, and toy story. So go ahead and do what you do, cartoons keep us younge :D

I don't think it's normal but it's not like it's a bad thing either. I don't know of any thirty year olds who enjoy those shows but so what? If you like 'em then watch 'em as often as you'd like! <3
