Personally, I think she is making an unhealthy and unreasonable demand. It's normal for anyone to have instinctual desires, but the fact that you married her is your contractual promise to not act upon these desires. That is an incredible sign of commitment, but she wants you to quell 100% of your thoughts to the point of repressing them. That's unhealthy, in my opinion.
