I been having unprotected sex with my boyfriend for the last past days an i stuck my hand down an seen white sticky discharge no smell no itching. I took a bath an i felt again and noticed that my cervix was tightly closed ... am I pregnant???

    First, I think it's great that you feel comfortable enough with your own body to check out what's going on with your cervix.

    However, if its state was always definite proof of pregnancy, there'd be no market for pregnancy test kits, and obgyn's would be able to just have a quick look to give women the news.

    If you want to know for sure, buy a pregnancy test kit.

    Obviously, if you and your boyfriend don't want to have a baby, use contraception. Unprotected sex is playing Russian roulette. You may not be pregnant now, but if keep on doing it and it's almost certain you will be, sooner or later.

    As for the discharge, you've been having sex without a condom, and semen is not magically absorbed by your body. Almost all of of what goes in will come out, sometimes a day or even more after sex.

    how would you know if the cervical os is open or closed ? that would take a second person or some tools . Im not an OBGYN but i play one with my sister.
