maybe you're just not coping the right way, or maybe they weren't that close to you.
Ive never shed a tear in my life for some reason, my mum said when i was a baby i would make the noises, but never any tears, i just made noises no tears though. And yet, my eyes tell me something is amiss, when someone cooks onions. I dont cry, they just get watery.
It depends, really.
If you just don't cry, it is normal. If you don't feel sad, it is not.
I have never cried when anyone in my family died. I really cried when my dogs died.
There is no "right" way to cope with tragedy. Everyone deals with distress differently especially in the moment. Many people suppress so that they can function in a time when they may be needed or when things are stressful, just make sure you let out that emotion one way or another eventually, if that person did indeed mean a lot to you, or you could walk away with emotional habits that are really hard to deal with.
Wow to not cry when a person in your family dies that kinda wired but I don't think that's abnormal maybe you just don't feel for them.
