Am i in love with my best friend?

My best friend and I are REALLY close. We are closer to each other than any of our other friends. I feel emotionally and physically attached to him. We once dated for almost 2 years, but we broke up because we felt that we felt more like brother and sister than boyfriend and girlfriend. Everyone tells us that we are "soul mates" and that we are going to be married some day. i object to the idea when someone mentions it (which is often) but when i think about it, it's something i feel i wouldn't mind. i trust him with anything and everything and he's the only person i feel that way towards. Yet i still don't feel romantically attracted to him. Could i be wrong? am I really in love with but i don't notice it? is this normal?

    It is easy to confuse your emotions, if you are unsure and are not romantically attracted to him then it is very unlikely that it is "meant to be" of course, if you feel you cannot live without him, need him in your life, get jealous or would if he was with someone, then talk to him about it.
    There may be something there, but if you broke up before because you felt it wasn't right then be careful, you dont want to lose a friendship over it.

      thanks:) i don't think we will ruin our friendship over it. we dated before and now we're even more close even though we broke up.:)
