Am i gay if i want to be with a guy but want no sex?

I’ve been attracted to girls my entire life but recently I’ve started crushing on this boy in my class. I’m not sure if I’m gay or not. I just have the same thoughts about him that I would have with girls. Like holding hands, kissing, going on dates etc.

I don’t have a sexual attraction to him, nor do I want us to be in a sexual relationship. But I really do like him, and I want to be with him. Does this make me gay? Since I know that being gay means being sexually attracted to males. I may be wrong, sorry I don’t know very much.

    There's all kinds of new distinctions for sexuality. You could be homoromantic, but heterosexual. Bisexual...bla bla bla

    Anyways, my point is, its all a grey area in terms of labels, but you don't NEED a label at all. Just do what makes you happy & fuck trying to put a tag on it.

    Yeah thats pretty gay. You'll probably grow out of it. Its probably just a faze. I wouldn't let that get out though. Maybe your generation is better with two boys holding hands but when I was growing up I would have gotten my ass beat doing that in school.

    I am kind if in the same boat but reversed. I am attracted to women as well and will only be involved with women. But I like sexual fun with men without a romantic attraction. It just about the sex.
