I am in my 30's and my wife and I have 2 young children. I have a pretty high sex drive and would prefer to have sex daily if that was realistic. Obviously with our schedules and taking care of the kids this isn't happening. Because of this I tend to masturbate probably 4 times a week, usually while watching porn. Is that excessive?

4 times a week is actually moderated well, had you said 4 times a day then the story would be different and would be signs of an addict, so dont worry its perfectly okay
I masturbate atleast once or twice a day and sometimes still have sex with my wife that day.

Mine are still young too and we try and make as much time for it as we can but I'm just so fucking tired all the time. Sometimes we manage 3 times a week if we're lucky but that's not the norm.
I've heard that as the kids get older the sex life comes roaring back with vengeance. Hang in there buddy.
As a side note, have you tried telling your wife that you masturbate watching porn? I caught my husband doing it once and it really turned me on, we had great sex that time. It depends on your wife I suppose but a lot of women are very into it. You can also schedule sex like a diary invite, which sounds boring and depressing but actually works really well when you're both very busy and going through the teatime/bathtime/bedtime/parents fall asleep on the sofa stage of parenting.
