Am i bulemic?

Ok , I am not bulemic...but I've tried to make myself throw up a lot, I just can't seem to throw up.my parents don't seem to think it's a problem, and kinda brush it off...i am actually thin, but I feel like a pig after I eat and I feel like I've gotta go throw up. Plz don't judge me.it's like almost obsessive...is it normal tht my parents don't think it's a problem? It's almost like they're 'scorning" me and it bothers me...

Thats Bulemia alright. Get it sorted out. No good, that. Friends of mine have had it in the past, turned them into very unhappy people. See a doctor, get help, get better.

I'm sorry! yea this doesn't sound good. I believe that your angry that your parents don't think it's a big deal and that it makes you feel like they don't care about you! but talk to someone who will take you seriously, and that way you can see that it is actually a problem and that it could eventually lead to an eating disorder!

To tell you the truth, you just want attention and your parents not giving you any is pissing you off. Most girls who have an eating disorder, such as the one you claim to have, perceive themselves as fat which is why they act the way they do. You, on the other hand, already admitted you think you're skinny. Having an eating disorder is a serious issue and someone who is suffering through one should seek help. It is not normal, however being a teenage girl who constantly craves attention is.

The fact that you try to make yourself throw up is a sure sign of an eating disorder. Whether you actually throw up or not, this is a problem and your parents aren't helping you at all by brushing it under the rug like that. Take care of yourself and talk to someone who will take this seriously and help you through this.

      1) I suffered bulimia for three years, so I know this is a B.S. attention getter.
      2) Why would you say "Please don't judge, it's like an obsession"? If it's an obsession, you would be DOING it, not just TRYING. You seem like you are trying to get back at your parents for not caring. If you really wanted to puke, you would have. My advice is:

Don't do it, and get over yourself.

Bulimia isn't a light topic. It comes from deeply rooted depression and can cause diseases and your teeth and hair can become weak and fall out.

If you are a teen, feeling like a pig after you eat is natural. Especially in these times. You are not bulimic for that, you probably have a lot of negativity going into your brain (horror movies, books, certain types of music, etc.) that are contributing to the issue. Many people now after seeing the cool movies about teen struggle are subconciously trying to create problems for themselves.

Don't be one of those people. Also, don't call your parents out on their mistakes, instead, show them you are the mature one and YOU care about yourself whether or not they do.
I hope this is not a joke. If it is that is very immature. I am 17, and like I said before, I suffered with bulimia for three years. Because of it, my growth has slowed down IMMENSLY, and I am only 5 foot 2. This may seem normal, but both of my parents are very tall. Also, only being 5'2 tall, my weight of 71 lbs. (this is after a year of therapy by the way) is not very fitting.
Please don't make the mistake I did.

      Best wishes,
      Kayla xoxo
