Am i bad for liking this type of humor?

I recently watched Live Freaky! Die Freaky! (In case you didn't know what it's about, basically it's kinda a spoof of Charles Manson and the murders which took place, and it uses claymation/puppets. Yes belive it or not, such a film exists.)

Anyway, I thought at first it would be lame, but actually, it had me laughing not too long into the film.
Even though I am aware that some of the jokes are very offensive, I couldn't help, but to laugh.

And in a way, I kinda wish that there were more parodies like this out there. Sure, there's Dahmer VS Gacy, but I saw most of it and eeehh, it just wasn't that entertaining.

Am I bad for liking films like this?

      Moral Orel is great!

And I wouldn't mind liking it, OP. My sense of humor can be fairly dark and I wouldn't mind watching something like that.

Same. I guess moral Orel got a lot of hate from the adult swim community, but seems to have a cult following. Must be the same with a lot of "dark humor" things- it's not popular/mainstream, but it can't be weird if that's what some people find funny (personally I love it too but it seems to be the most misunderstood)

        • It's odd, but Moral Orel kinda spoke to me,
especially the third season, it's like I could relate to it. It was funny, sure, but also deep.

          Maybe it's just me.

yeah, it definitely had depth. i didn't actually watch that many episodes but i'd try to catch it whenever it was on. that was a great part of it, the characters were a bit tragic yet it wasn't too serious that it'd feel awkward to watch... i don't see many series like this.

I find it easier to laugh at something after a significant amount of time has passed since a tragic event has occurred. It's also easier if you weren't directly affected by it.
