Always go barefoot?

I love being barefoot. I always am barefoot when I am at home, even when it's cold. I generally wear shoes when I am outside unless I am at the beach or in a park, but I sympathise with those who manage to walk barefoot on the streets. A guy in my course does that quite often and I know some people who make fun of him. I think they are morons.

    I wear flip flops all year too and I live in upstate NY

    I don't go truly barefoot, but I tend to wear flip flops year round, no matter the weather.

    You sound like someone meant to join the Society for Barefoot Living. LOL, its on the web, yep.

    My wife says that I have ruined her. After more than 3 years aboard the boat, barefoot, she cannot stand shoes any more. Good thing she has pretty feet!
    Being raised in the North East (snowy winters) and working on horse ranches all her life, I do not know how she will go back to that life after I'm gone.
    Of course, 75 degrees is a bitter cold day to us, so it's not like not wearing shoes is a problem.
